WELCOME TO OUR LITURGY: A child playing in a park met an elderly woman who smiled at him, so he offered to share his lunch with her. When he got home his mother asked whom he had met, and he replied “I think I met God and she was so old.â€Â The woman reached home and her husband asked “Who id you meet today?â€Â She said “I’m sure I met God, and he was so young.â€Â The Father reveals himself to those who open themselves to others.
First Reading:
Zechariah 9: 9-10.
9 Â Â Â Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem! Lo, your king comes to you; triumphant and victorious is he, humble and riding on an ass, on a colt the foal of an ass.
10 Â Â Â I will cut off the chariot from E’phraim and the war horse from Jerusalem; and the battle bow shall be cut off, and he shall command peace to the nations; his dominion shall be from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth.
